CORU-registered dietitian. Living with type 1 diabetes since age 5.
I’ve experienced the highs and lows, the health scares, and the day-to-day challenges of diabetes.
Through study & experience I have achieved great blood glucose control, and now I want to help you or your family members to do the same.
I have a passion and deep understanding of managing all kinds of diabetes (type 1, type 2, and pre-diabetes).
In the age of social media conflicting advice is everywhere. My goal is to use evidence-based nutrition to improve the lives of those living with diabetes.
Hi, I’m Páraic.
My Story
I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 5 years of age. I was passionate about sport and always had a competitive mindset.
It became obvious at an early stage that balancing everyday life, sport, and diabetes was a challenge, and I had nowhere to turn to for advice I could trust.
My health, performance and love for sport were all going in the wrong direction. Unfortunately, I had some close calls with my health.
These experiences sparked an interest in nutrition. Through simple changes I turned my diabetes management around and reconnected with sport. Since then, I have become a registered dietitian with the goal of helping people manage diabetes through diet & lifestyle changes that last.
I know the frustration of conflicting advice, and I know what it’s like when a plan looks perfect on paper but falls apart in real-life.
My goal is to support people with type 1, type 2, and pre-diabetes to take back control of their health and live longer and healthier lives.

I aim to reach as many people as possible who are living with diabetes to give them the tools needed for a long & healthy life.
